‘Prehistoric Coracle Making’ Workshop
Year 5 learners from Heybrook Primary School worked alongside Year 7 ‘Global Earthworks’ ambassadors to create small prehistoric model boats or coracles and to write short poems about life as prehistoric coastal travellers. Time was spent undertaking a shared redrafting process and we hope to share our final pieces of creative work at the final ‘Global Earthworks’ showcase at the People’s History Museum in Manchester on the 2nd of July 2017. The model boats contain some very detailed and intricate accessories and look great as an entire fleet. We are hoping to be able to sail them very soon!
